Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef (96% or better)
- ½ thinly sliced white onion
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp sea salt or to taste
- ¼ tsp ground pepper
- ½ tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp beef granules
- 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
Brown ground beef and sliced onion in a large pan over medium until beef is cooked through and onions are transparent. Add all remaining ingredients to the pan, stir, cover, and simmer on low. Do not boil. Greek yogurt will curdle if it’s heated above a certain point.
Serve with brown rice, whole wheat pasta, spaghetti squash, or veggies of choice.
