Green beans at their finest—this is Tony's favorite
veggie side dish with any meal.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
(about 4 cups)
Juice of 1 lemon
Sea salt and ground black pepper
Directions
In a skillet that has a lid, heat the oil over medium
heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the
green beans and cover for 5 to 8 minutes to “steam.”
Remove the lid and stir. The green beans should be
bright green and crisp. Pour on the lemon juice and
stir to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
