- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup Almonds
- 7 fresh dates*
- 2 teaspoons of Unsweetened Cocoa
- 1 tablespoon agave or honey
- Add (raw, unsalted) nuts to food processor and pulse until coarse. Be sure not to over process or else they will start to emit oil and turn into a nut butter.
- Add dates, unsweetened cocoa, agave and process to a sticky ball. Form into balls and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
This recipe yield about 12 chocolate date balls.
