Dr Oz: Carob Chip Recipe vs Chocolate Chips
Ingredients:1/3 C coconut oil
½ C carob powder
1 -1 1/2 Tbsp Powder Stevia
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Melt coconut oil over low heat
Remove from heat and stir in carob powder
Stir in sugar substitute
Stir in vanilla
In Tbsp drops on parchment lined baking sheet, drop in the dough
Refrigerate until solid
Each piece is only 50 calories so you can have two. Dr Oz calls this the best recipe he’s ever had on his show. Carobs taste like chocolate, but contains less fat and fewer calories. They’re also caffeine-free.
